Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former Banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. Her father, an native of Argentina with Scottish and English heritage is also her mother. Her mother is of Spanish and English origin. The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's former marriage. Buenos Aires was her home up until she was six years old, after which the family relocated from the city of Victoria at the time of London. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatizing and she did not take the time to learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after she left Northlands. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London and took ballet classes and participated in the drama department. In her 16th year she left school and pursued a career as an actress full-time. Taylor-Joy had always wanted to be an actor. At the age of 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the possibility to be a model.
