Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born 24 April 1982 from Fort Worth, Texas. Clarkson is an American musician, singer and TV star. In 2002, she was the winner of her first American Idol talent contest. Clarkson was raised at Burleson Texas (a town located just outside within Fort Worth), where her vocal talents were first noticed by her 7th grade class teacher. When she graduated from high school, Clarkson relocated to Los Angeles to try to be a part of the show business. She was picked to compete on the Fox Broadcasting Corporation's American Idol singing competition, giving viewers the chance to cast their vote on their favourite performance. The viewers were in love with Clarkson's stunning personality, voice, as well as her humour. Clarkson's prize for winning the contest was $1 million and an agreement to record with RCA.
