Beverly

KimBeverly Lumbres Caimen was born June 20, 1994 [1and is known under her mononym as Beverly. She is a Filipino performer who is based in Japan under the label AvexTrax. Her name is widely known for her many soundtrack appearances including "Be the one" and "Be the One" from Kamen Rider Build, and "Koko" (Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle). Beverly Caimen was born on June 20, 1994, in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines as the third child of Ramon Vega Caimen and Leticia Valdez Lumbres. She has two brothers as well as two sisters. Beverly began singing when she was five years old. Her mother would take her to school, and discovered that Beverly was gifted at singing. She joined her school's choir at the age of 7 and began voice lessons at age 9 when her mother found time. She participated in her first singing competition around this time however, she didn't come out on top. But, her mom encouraged her to continue since she needed to get more experience. She received her degree from Batangas State University with a B.S. in Psychology. Beverly began singing at amateur competitions to pursue her ambitions. She won first place at the World Championships of Performing Arts. Then she began recording songs for GMA Records, and collaborated with Vehnee Saturno. She released Beverly Caimen, her first and only album with GMA. Beverly was nominated for the Best Performance at the Awit Awards and received the Harvest of Honors award of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. She also won the A Song of Praise Music Festival year-long award for Best Performance.
